Inspired Wooden Accents Displayed by an Outrageously Sized Family Home Posted: 15 Apr 2012 01:11 AM PDT Studio MPR Design Group has designed the Waterfront House Coogee project, with outrageous dimensions for a “casual family home”. The residence is located on a double block of ocean front land in Coogee, 5 miles south-east of the Sydney central business district, in Australia. Spreading on 550 square meters of land and complemented by a generous infinity pool with views of the neighboring ocean, the project displays a color palette defined by white and given warmth by inspired wooden additions. Various terraces and floor to ceiling windows ensure the overall openness of the residence. The architects define the architecture influences as “strong and primitive”, but the modern features are easy to spot. Once inside, a potential visitor is likely to be overwhelmed by the spacious interiors, adorned with original furniture arrangements which we invite you to discover up close in the following photos.
