Fantastic Concrete And Glass Residence In Mexico Posted: 20 Mar 2012 09:32 AM PDT Completed in 2010, House La Punta is a contemporary residential structure organized on three levels and located in Bosques de las Lomas, Mexico. Central de Arquitectura designed the modern home as two rectangular prisms placed one on top of the other, creating an L-shaped floor plan. The ground floor shelters the family room, kitchen, dining space, living room and a deck with BBQ outside – all welcoming spaces with a strong connection to the outside via glass walls. In the basement, a six car garage with a driver room and bathroom stand next to the games room, cellar and technical spaces. An upper level containing the private rooms pampers inhabitants with a selection of wonderful spaces and views of the surroundings. The master bedroom benefits from a large dressing room and bathroom, while the two twin bedrooms with bath and dresser and fourth bedroom complete the resting spaces this residence has to offer. Besides these private spaces, a living room and small study offer plenty of space for the family to get together and even work from home. By carefully studying the residence’s interiors from the photos below, you can see all the details that make House La Punta a dream home. Serene Resort On Mauritius’ East Coast: Long Beach Hotel Posted: 20 Mar 2012 08:01 AM PDT Keith Interior Design and Stauch Vorster Architects collaborated in designing the Long Beach Hotel in Mauritius. Putting aside the fantastic Mauritius Island, there are numerous features that make this a dream destination. Drift wood was combined with grey stone work and a relaxing color palette including pure white, aqua, chartreuse and coral place the focal point on the beautiful resort. These colors create a stunning atmosphere, which brings comfort and relaxation on the verge of dreaming. Each space has its unique mood, welcoming guests with a powerful connection to the radiant surroundings. Located on the Eastern Coast of Mauritius, the Long Beach Hotel was styled and prepared to be the perfect place to enjoy a dream vacation. As described by the designers, the resort is a serene, comforting oasis overlooking fresh, inviting surroundings: “Each public space has its own styling and mood; the different languages were created by using different pieces of furniture (sometimes having signature statement pieces). We kept a strong link between the different areas by using dominant neutral tones, natural stones, raw timber and crisply finished aluminum. Throughout the hotel we adopted clean lines, texture and fresh colors. The Spas calm, serene mood was enhanced using neutral colours infused with aquas and soft coral tones. Natural textured wood was mixed with high gloss finishes and natural stone. The resort has a luxurious appeal, while keeping the setting contemporary, fresh and casual, attractive qualities for families.” All you need to do is enjoy the sun!
